Situated in Cadzand, this is a lovely well laid out site. Wulpen Camping, Just over the border after Belgium into the Netherlands makes this an ideal stopping point on your way to or from the UK and only two hours from Calais.
The wardens greeted us in fluent English and directed us to our pitch. Typically you see caravans pitched sideways in Mainland Europe with awnings facing forward. We were about to motor-move the caravan into position when the site manager passed with electric buggy and offered to pitch our caravan for us. OK, why not?
The site has individually hedged, fully serviced, grass pitches and well planted grounds. Car parking is situated close to pitches. With a good mix of statics, seasonal and touring pitches, the site is well planted and set out. Wulpen caters for all ages, with a lovely park for children and games facilities including table tennis, bar football, boules and a volleyball pitch there is even a small bar and onsite shop selling basic groceries.
The site also offers cycle hire. Situated close to the beach and with a perfect cycling infrastructure there’s no reason not to cycle even if you don’t have your own bike. Perfectly flat too, so easy riding.
There is a heated toilet and shower block (free hot showers) with laundry and dishwashing facilities. Wifi is free and works well across the site. We used the ACSI off season discount with our booking and for a small discount. Would we come again? Yes! Although we only stayed for 2 nights we could gladly have stayed longer.

It certainly is worth it. We couldn’t find a site we liked the look of in Belgium this site ticked boxes for us just over the border.
