He tells me if it’s worth seeing it’s worth some trouble getting there. The Four Falls Walk in the Brecon Beacons, Wales certainly served up a hidden gem today, although personally, I would have gladly teleported there for the experience. Not that I complained, well, no more than once every 30 seconds or so, had to let him know I was still there as he marched on. We left the caravan in glorious sunshine and I was informed the forecast said it was sunny all day, but…, this is the Brecon Beacons, forecast or not, we turned up in a thick mist and the sun never got a look in.
I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story from the cave near the car park down to the Sgwd yr Eira waterfall:
Be warned, the paths are not quite smooth tarmac
Eventually, including a final 170 step descent, we got our moment behind the falls.
Now for the walk back, wet through, cold and still mumbling and grumbling as I go.
It was really good to meet you both, love your blogs, very amusing, hope we meet again soon.
